Next time it will be a hard pass, as i said earlier, didn't even check out the mini golf. The ticket games payed out a ton of tickets and even though they are pretty worthless it got them excited to see 20-50 tickets come pouring out. With all that said- my kids, 2,6, and 10 had a great time because they were oblivious to the dangers and when a game didn't work they were happy to just move on to the next. there was NOT a system for making sure your kid isn't stole like at chuck e cheese (door guard stamping hands), the parking lot is scary after dark and the fact there is video gambling on the premises is a bad idea, drew in people with no kids. I recommend going to chuck e cheese or anywhere else for that matter. possibly targeted as obvious out of towners. In the parking lot we were approached by a pan handler that kinda cornered us and only left when i told him we had no money but was pretty sure we were about to be mugged. The games were hit and miss- many didn't work, stole coins, a knock with your fist and 20 coins would fall out etc. The food was ok- just deep fried stuff and some bla pizza. The prices were supposed to be good but we paid as much as we would have anywhere else, like 60 bucks with 100 game coins but no one got filled up. the place was almost empty and pretty clean as well. ![]() The staff was super friendly, we had no issue there. Arrived at 7:30pm, Didn't try the golf, wanted to get out as quickly as possible but stuck it out for a couple hours because of our kids. First night we chose this place because of trip adviser. Given on some of the other reviews I've read, I don't think I would consider going at night either.Ĭame to gurnee for the amusement park and stayed 2 nights super 8. I would never even consider going here on a weekend, when I imagine it's really crowded with regular customers and probably birthday parties, etc. We didn't purchase any food, with the exception of an icee, so don't know the quality or prices. It was fun playing the 'glow in the dark' golf, especially since we were the only ones there, and our granddaughter enjoyed it too, since the only other mini golf she's played has been on an outside course. We were the only customers playing mini-golf, which suited us just fine. I knew there was an arcade, but intentionally didn't bring any $ for that, as I've never met an arcade I liked. Plus, Illinois kids were in school, so we figured it wouldn't be too crowded. I was a bit skeptical, given some of the reviews, but figured since it was during daylight hours in the early afternoon, we went for it. ![]() We were looking for somewhere to take our granddaughter and this was suggested.
